** First of all please note that due to new GPS date we had the chance to analyse shortly before the race, we were able to determine that the distance was rather 430 than 460 miles (see also respective News Update). Also, the race was stopped by us at Scroggie Creek checkpoint. The only athlete who at the time had reached this checkpoint was Andy Heading. Andy is also the only athlete who likely would have made it all the way to Dawson City within the time limit. That is why he is ranked 1st. Since the 4 athletes Joachim Rintsch, Tom Wolter-Roessler, Klaus Schweinberger and Pearse Allen would likely have reached Scroggie Creek had we not evacuated them, the are ranked 2nd.
